Meet the People - Rick Meyer

Rick has been with Alberici for over 13 years and enjoys the challenges and opportunities that each project presents. As a Financial Manager, Rick interacts with employees to provide cost management, cost control and financial reporting for a variety of projects.

Rick began his career in Alberici’s warehouse as the Maintenance Shop Administrator. Today, he spends most of his time in the St. Louis office but finds value in visiting his project sites. “It’s rewarding knowing your daily activities contribute to the overall success of the project and the company,” he explains.
When not at the office or on site, Rick enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family at their cabin in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.

Meet the People - Katy Beckerle

As the daughter of two engineers, it was natural for Katy to take an interest in construction. Growing up in the St. Louis area, she was familiar with Alberici’s good reputation and came to work for the company after graduating with a degree in architectural engineering.

Katy’s first project was the massive MOX Fuel Fabrication Facility at the US Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site in South Carolina. Though she was drawn to the complexity of the project, Katy most enjoyed working with the great group of people on the Alberici team.

Outside of work, Katy enjoys traveling, volleyball and spending time outdoors. While travelling for projects, she enjoys exploring her new neighborhoods and local volleyball leagues, which allow her to meet new people.

Meet the People - Audrey Leamy

For Audrey, Alberici provides the right balance: a company large enough to provide opportunities for exciting projects around the world, but small enough to be a valued member of the team. She began her career as an intern with Hillsdale Fabricators, Alberici’s steel fabrication division. There, she gained exposure to all facets of a project, from detailing to project management to work in the field.

Audrey’s favorite project was the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She enjoyed the one-on-one learning experience with Alberici’s seasoned superintendents, who were happy to share their knowledge and experience. “From the first day with my internship, I have always enjoyed that there isn’t just a freedom to ask questions, but an interest to delve into deeper discussions and exposure,” Audrey remarked.

Meet the People - Aaron Williams

Aaron Williams is Alberici’s world traveler, currently representing the company in Doha, Qatar as a member of the Burns & McDonnell team on the Msheireb Downtown Doha project. “I am interacting with many cultures, meeting people from all over the world, and doing a lot of traveling in my spare time,” Aaron explained. So far, he has visited Dubai, Thailand, China, Egypt, Spain, India and Ethiopia.

Aside from his current assignment, Aaron also enjoyed his first Alberici project: the Buzzi River Cement Plant. “Coming from an architectural and commercial construction background, the opportunity to work on an industrial project and expand my knowledge base was exhilarating,” he said.

Meet the People–Jana Lyle

Through hard work and an eagerness to meet new challenges, Jana has advanced throughout her 14-year career at Alberici. Her experiences as a corporate concierge and executive assistant provided her with an in-depth knowledge of Alberici and its employees. This knowledge is tremendously useful in Jana’s current position as an Employment Resources Supervisor.

In her free time, Jana trains for and competes in three-day horse riding competitions. She started with a young thoroughbred, and has since brought him up successfully through several levels of competition.

In her current position, Jana interacts with almost every employee in the company – easily her favorite part of job. “The relationships I’ve built here are priceless. I love working with people who care about the company, and working for a company that adheres to its mission and cares for its employees,” she explains.
